Jester Champwick is a modern electric jazz duo that was borne out of lifelong friendship & the necessity of pandemic-era remote collaboration. With their debut EP, Homework, Toronto-based keyboardist Joel Visentin & NYC-based drummer Curtis Nowosad seek to celebrate some of the great Black American composers of the 60s and 70s with an all-analog sound that is unique to their shared sensibilities.
